Mission: Code Century
This is a problem-solving and communication activity where teams must collaborate across groups to succeed. It reinforces that no single team can achieve an organization’s vision alone—knowledge must be shared.
This activity works best mid-program when you want to deepen collaboration, or when introducing cross-functional cooperation or interdisciplinary approaches.
Instructions:
Form teams of 5–8.
Each team receives a set of partial clues or puzzles.
Initially, they solve what they can — but it becomes clear that their clues are incomplete.
Teams must share clues across teams to fully decode a hidden message.
Processing Suggestions:
Ask: "When did you realize you couldn't succeed alone? What shifted after that?"
Reflect: How important is openness and communication between different teams and disciplines?
