IDP Coaching Progress Links
Below are the three forms you can use to reflect on your most recent coaching or development conversation with your coachee. These forms are designed to capture information that indicates the current status of your respective coaching sessions. Review the descriptions of each form below and choose the one that best matches the stage of your latest session.
Initial Coaching Session
Use this form after your FIRST coaching conversation with your coachee. You will be using this form just once, after your first formal coaching conversation with your coachee.
Midpoint/Progress Check
Use this form after a FOLLOW UP session that reviews progress since the last conversation. Use this form for any follow-up session where you check on progress, revisit the plan, or adjust strategies. Continue using it for all follow-up sessions until the coaching session is deemed final, or the development goal is considered completed or closed.
Final Coaching Session
Use this form when you are CLOSING the coaching process. You will be using this form only once, when you decide to end the coaching cycle — whether because the behavior has been successfully demonstrated or because continued coaching is no longer effective.
