Common Thread

This is a short one, but can make for a fun ice breaker for teams.

Divide a large group into smaller groups and instruct each group to find five to ten things they all have in common. This number is dependent on the time that you have, and how large the team you will be working with.

Challenge them to think creatively – places they have traveled, TV shows they’ve seen, etc. You can also have them think through categories which could make it more challenging for them.

The first group to come up with the designated number of things in common wins, and you can have points for creativity too!
